Crockpot Brisket
Mix thyme (n 2 tablespoons), paprika (2 tablespoons), onion powder (2 tablespoons), garlic powder (2 tablespoons), cayenne ( 2 teaspoons). salt and pepper (cumin if you choose)
brisket meat, sprinkle on liquid smoke and rub it into the meat. Then rub the spice mix all over.
In crockpot, pour in 1.5 cups of BBQ sauce with a couple tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce and then place your prepped brisket on top.
Cook on low for 8 hours.
Place on a cutting board and top with the juices from the pot. Cut into slices for the meal or sandwiches.
Sandwiches can be served with the juice as au jus either dipped or add to top of the meat and then add the top bun.
