1 cup raw peanuts
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1/8 tsp salt
1 TBSP butter
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
Mix peanuts, sugar, salt, and corn syrup in a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Microwave 4 minutes, stir. Microwave 3-4 minutes. Remove and add butter and stir well. Microwave 2-3 minutes more until peanuts are a golden brown. Add baking soda and vanilla, stirring gently until light and foamy. Pour onto greased cookie sheet until cool. Crack into small pieces. Store in airtight container.
