Things you will need:
A clear, plastic or glass container about the size of a shoebox
Piece of Brick
Pieces of Clay Pottery
Pieces of Sponge
Food coloring, 3 or 4 different colors
Bowl
Tablespoon Measuring Spoon
Ammonia
Liquid Bluing
Water
Salt
1. Dampen enough pieces of brick, clay pottery and sponge to cover the bottom of the clean, plastic or glass container.
2. Sprinkle four or five drops of each color of food coloring over the brick, pottery, and sponge.
3. Mix together in a bowl, four tablespoons of ammonia, four tablespoons of liquid bluing, and four tablespoons of water. Pour this mixture over brick, pottery and sponge.
4. Cover the brick, pottery and sponge with a lot of salt.
5. Wait a few hours and watch your "garden" grow!
