5-6 Medium Yams
Butter
Brown Sugar
Karol Syrup (optional)
Mini Marshmallows
1. Wash yams and boil until tender.
2. Peel and slice into round circles
3. Use real butter and grease the bottom and sides of a casserole dish
4. Place a layer of yams on the bottom. Cut small chunks of butter over the yams and sprinkle brown sugar over this layer. Add another layer of yams and repeat adding butter and brown sugar.
5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 375 F.
6. Remove from oven and sprinkle mini marshmallows over the top. Place back in the oven and cook until the marshmallows are melted.
Note: You can melt the butter and add the brown sugar and then pour over the yams. Haven't tried this but it might be great.
