2 1/2 bags of popped Popcorn (she used Kettle Corn)
3" can of Cashews (peanuts, almonds, etc.)
1 bag of mini Marshmallows
1 lb of M&M's (some were caramel and others were plain M&M's)
Optional: Can add other ingredients during holidays.
Candy Corn, Red Hots, Hot Tamales, etc.
1 lb of White Chocolate Chips (ghiradelli or she uses Hershey's)
Pop your popcorn and add all the other goodies with the popcorn and mix.
Place white chocolate chips in a PLASTIC bowl, not glass (advice from a famous chocolate maker). Add a couple of tablespoons of Canola Oil (it has to be Canola Oil).
Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between. Continue this until it is all melted or pourable. Pour over popped popcorn and other goodies pretty quickly after it reaches the correct consistency as the chocolate starts to set up pretty fast.
You can drizzle milk chocolate over the top for décor if you desire using the same technique you used to melt the white chocolate.
You can make as much or as little as you want, just adjust the amounts of the ingredients.
Note: Don't forget to pick out the un-popped kernels.
This made a large Tupperware bowl full.
Try not to eat the entire bowl Sharon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
