Caramels- Candy

2 Cups of Sugar
1 1/2 Cups of light Karo syrup
Pinch of salt
1 Cup of Real Butter (2 Squares)
1 Can of Eagle Brand Sweetened-Condensed Milk
Add after cooking
1 Tsp Vanilla

Mix all together. On medium high or lower, cook to 236 degrees or until a light oak color. Remove from heat, beat and add nuts is desired. Add vanilla.

Put in a 9 x 9 pan and cool. Cut.

Can wrap in parchment or wax paper.
