Potato Casserole

1 pkg shredded, frozen hash brown potatoes
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
1/3 cup green onions, chopped
1 1/2 cup grated cheddar or sharp cheese
heat together in a med saucepan the butter and the soup. blend in sour cream, onions, and cheese. mix everything (except cornflakes and 2 tbsp melted butter) together in a large bowl and spread 9x13" pan. Top with the crushed corn flakes mixture

1/3 cup crushed corn flakes
2 tbsp melted butter
mix together for topping

Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until hot. Serves 8-10
