2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups shortening
1/2 cup of molasses
2 tsp ginger
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
4 cups flour
Hershey Kisses (optional)
cream sugar, shortening then mix beaten eggs and molasses thoroughly
Mix all dry ingredients with creamed mixture.
Oven at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Roll into small balls then roll in sugar, put on ungreased cookie sheet
don't over cook. Can add a kiss when you remove from oven.
