Grandma Leola Jackson's Honey Cookies

1 1/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
6 cups flour
1 cup honey
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs

Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs and beat and then honey and beat again. Add all dry ingredients and add to mixture alternately with buttermilk. Can add a tab vinegar to milk, if you don't have buttermilk. Dough should be of a consistency to drop. Bake (time? temp?)
