Gingerbread House

sift together:
2 3/4 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp clove

Beat together:
1 egg
2/3 cup molasses
1/2 cup oil
1/3 cup brown sugar

Mix and chill dough. Put 1 tbsp oil in 15 1/2 " by 10 1/2" cookie sheet. pat out chilled dough in pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Cut out parts immediately. Let dry overnight.

Frosting:
3 egg whites
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 lb. powdered sugar
Beat egg whites until very stiff then add cream of tartar. Add the sugar slowly. Beat until frosting is very stiff and not shiny.
