Cheesy Potato Bake

1. melt in saucepan 1/4 cup butter
2. mix the following with the butter:
      1 tbsp minced onion
      1 tsp salt
      1/8 tsp pepper
3. place in greased 13x9 inch dish. Four medium potatoes thinly sliced
4. brush potato slices with butter mixture
5. Bake in a 425 degrees oven for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender
6. sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups grated cheese
                        1 tbsp snipped parsley
                        1/2 tsp thyme leave
Bake 10 minutes longer
