Saute:
sliced mushrooms
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1/4 tsp minced garlic or 1 clove
mix:
1 can tomato sauce
2 TBsp schillings spaghetti mix
2 Tbsp water
Mix:
1 cup bread crumbs
1 8oz pkg mozarella cheese, shredded
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 egg slightly beaten
Saute ground beef, onion, garlic, and mushrooms.
Mix tomato sauce, schillings, mix and water in a bowl
Mix with fork til all mixed.
Pour enough tomato sauce mix in bottom of casserole dish just to cover the bottom. Save the rest to spoon into shells.
Combine cheese(save enough to sprinkle on top of shells) to meat mixture. Spoon meat and cheese mix into cooked sheels and place in casserole dish. Spoon tomato sauce mix on shells until gone. Cover with foil, bake 35 minutes in 350 degrees. remove from oven, sprinkle the rest of the cheese, place back in oven, uncovered until cheese melts. let stand 10 minutes before serving.
